System Requirements
These guidelines are applicable to the latest releases of our software, namely Promiso 6.1.132 and its companion products. If you are running older releases, it would be wise to contact us to confirm compatibility.
NOTE: The hardware requirements should be considered the minimum; as such, they may not be applicable to your implementation. Please contact us to discuss requirements specific to your organization.
Server(s)*:
- Intel® Pentium® 4 processor (multiprocessor recommended)
- Microsoft® Windows Server® 2003 or 2008, Windows® XP or 7
- 4 GB of RAM
- 40 GB hard drive (SCSI preferred for rapid data access)
- Apache Tomcat™ Servlet Container 5.5.12
- Oracle® MySQL™ 4.1.9 with MyODBC Driver 3.51 or Microsoft® SQL Server® 2000, 2005, or 2008 (with latest Service Pack)
- Java™ SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 24 (6u24)
- Web browser: Firefox® 3.6.x, 7.x, or 8.x; Internet Explorer® 7.x or 8.0
* For larger sites, two servers should be employed—one dedicated to the database server and the database, the other to the Tomcat and InfoMed applications.
Workstation:
- Intel® Pentium® II processor or higher that is sufficient to run a compatible browser (see below)
- Java™ SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 24 (6u24)
- Web browser: Firefox® 3.6.x, 7.x, or 8.x; Internet Explorer® 7.x or 8.0
Mobile Edition:
- Mobile Edition is compatible with most devices that run a standard web browser. Please contact us for information about specific devices.
